4. Sake Bar Yoramu

www.theboozehags.com

The Japanese love their food more than sake, but this bar is famous for the rice wine. The bar is owned by Israeli sake specialist Yorami Ofer, who personally picked the bottles, ranging from in-house aged sakes to fresh and unpasteurized sakes.

The small bar seats only nine people and it also has a menu with items from all over the world, all picked to complement sake. Japanese bars typically don’t allow standing and bookings are only done for the first hour of opening (usually 6 p.m.), so Yoramu’s sophisticated patrons get in early to grab a spot.
