3. Old St. Pancras Churchyard

An afternoon stroll through a graveyard? Anybody? No kidding: while it sounds like a rather weird choice of a place to go, Old St. Pancras is among the oldest sites of Christian worship in the UK, and this chaotically overgrown churchyard packs more historical punch than so many other praised spots in the city! In this tiny green space you will find the final resting places of many extraordinary citizens — Sir John Soane and Mary Wallstonecraft among them — and the “Hard Day’s Night” was partly filmed right here!
