Wild Arizona’s Most Iconic Spectacle: “The Wave”

The Wave is an epic sandstone rock formation located in Northern Arizona. The U-shaped Wave is so spectacularly colorful it attracts thousands of visitors and professional photographers, but many of them leave disappointed as the color spectrum is a lot less dramatic under most light conditions — the best time to take impressive pictures would be around noon.

To protect the fragile nature, only a limited number of visitors are permitted to the formation daily. The permit needs to be requested 4 months in advance!
